Overall, I am very pleased with the efficacy of the unit to remove humidity, to not freeze up. I have had problems with other units freezing up. This unit is exceedingly quiet which is a blessing. Some other issues explained below, altho remedied, are troubling.
I purchased this unit in May of 2009. I introductory noticed that the fan apparently runs 24/7 whether or not it is calling for the compressor to dehumidify. I emailed Danby and waited a week. No response. I emailed again and was told that yes, the fan runs ceaselessly but uses little power and assists keep the area constant. Then after the uninterrupted drain working fine for a couple of weeks, I found the container filling and having to be emptied. I checked the connection, it was fine. I emailed aid and heard not one thing for over two weeks. I emailed again, and the email bounced back. I then tried calling 800 support number off and on for two days, and it was busy. I then called the main number and talked to a person who told me to call 800 support. I explained I could not get through and was connected to someone’s voice mail. She emailed me and told me there was a problem with this unit, and that a mend would be mailed to me. I waited almost two weeks, no mailed repair received. I then called and left a voice mail again, and got an email that another set would be mailed to me. Today, three weeks later I did receive the fix kit. I can’t help but wonder why, whether or not I registered my unit, they did not send out notification of the difficultnesses Outside of this issue, I have been pleased with it’s performance.
We purchased model DDR3008EE in 6/08 . It worked well at first, but in Fall 2008 ate a lot of power, and its anti-icing function appeared to stop working. We didn’t use it over the winter. We turned it on in 7/09 and found its coils would not cool. Other than the fan blowing air, it was fully non-functional. A local shop confirmed that the coolant had leaked out. It took many calls to Danby just to in the end get a human being rather of a machine. The man told me Danby couldn’t help us as the 1 year warranty had run out. We salaried $242 for this piece of junk. We won’t ever purchase a Danby product again.
1. Ordered item was delivered beyond stated delivery time on the Confirmation sheet.
The dehumidifier was ordered 06.11.2010, delivery time supposed to be 06.23.2010
By 06.30.2010 it has not arrived yet, and we did not get any delayed delivery notification. We called amazon
customer service and were told then that it will be delivered on 07.01.2010, which it was.
2. We read the manual and carry on to run the dehumidifier. It won’t run. We had to call the DANBY company. We
were told then that the humidistat has to be set at 40. This information should be printed in the manual.
3. We ran the machine on continuous, the water collection bucket became full, the water run over and the machine
did not shut off by itself. We foud the floor wet around the dehumidifier. We called DANBY company again for
explanation. we still did not recognise why the shut off switch did not work. Also were told that there is a 2nd
littler bucket in the machine. After we remove the huge bucket, when we shake the machine we feel that there is
water in there swishing. We could not locate the 2nd bucket on the dehumidifier.

I read the reviews of others, and decisive nothing actually bad was said. Most complaints are what is written in the owners manual and dealt with how it was designed. After trying 2 other brands that were ^&^*^ right out of the box I am extremely happy with Danby. My temperature gauge/humidy measurement were precisely what the dehumidifer read. It works as promised. My smelly basement had no smell in fewer then one day. I do use the remote since, as is written, the fan is constantly on, so I use the remote to turn it off instead of going down the stairs. I even threw out the box – meaning this is a keeper.

One of the things I noticed when comparing dehumidifiers is they apparently don’t make them like they utilized poisonous The main complaint seems to be that they fail within a year or so, while the older ones seemingly went on and on for years. I can’t speak to that–we’ve only had this one for in regards to a month–but it’s done an awesome job during that month! We’re in a house that’s in regards to a century old, with a damp, damp basement, when it comes to a hundred years’ worth of odd smells down there, and humidity that runs in the 70-80 percent range when left alone. This unit got that down to 40 percent in regarding a day, and has maintained it there since. The smells have receded into the background and in general, it’s a whole lot more comfortable being down there now.
Set up on this unit was a breeze–probably less than 20 minutes amongst opening the box up in the living room and having it up and running downstairs. We’re using the hose option which, instead of storing the water it takes out of the air in a reservoir that has to be emptied periodically, runs it through a hose and into a floor drain. So it finelooking much may may may run unattended until it’s time to clean the filter.
I’ll weigh in again after a year or so to update durability and maintenance, but so far, so good!
This item was promptly received, was in splendid condition, and was easy to start up. It comes with a quick connect drain hose in case you decide to let it drain directly into a floor drain. The unit has easy to understand controls and the humidity level may quickly be set and I’ve found is accurate. A plus is that it may run all the way down to 41 degrees farenheit; so it is an excellent choice for homes that have cool basements.
When turned on, the fan runs constantly; however, this shouldn’t be a concern to consumers since it assists in air circulation and yet the unit is still energy star certified.
I bought this dehumidifier because it is top shortlisted on Consumer Reports. It was said to have better humidity reading accuracy than the model rated above it, not to mention it is substantially less pricey for the same pint capacity! I am very pleased with how well it is removing moisture. I would definitely recommend this unit to others.

It does come in a few well packaged boxes, one of which is heavy so have such a lot of support ready when you move its The bed and headboard take a small time to assemble, however, instructions are simple and whether or not followed, you’ll have a solid bed setup in a couple hours.

We absolutely love the Babyletto Hudson Convertible Crib. The assembly process was very easy and in the end, the product is very sturdy and beautiful. We were looking for a more advanced style crib and did not want to pay the Oeuf pricey We are very happy with our purchase and did not have to sacrifice quality while paying the Babyletto pricey The grey is a attractive shade of grey (Elephant Grey) and unfeigned to the online picture.
I love the Oeuf Sparrow crib yet couldn’t fetch myself to spend $800+ on a baby bed. I searched everywhere for a grey crib with a modern ascetic. I ultimately came throughout this Hudson crib and knew it was the one. My son’s name happens to be Hudson making it that much more fitting. The wood is sturdy and of very good quality. The grey color is beautiful, though a small lighter than the Oeuf. The open slats on all four sides make it airy and comfortable for baby. It took us when it comes to an hour to put together and we had no problems. There are 4 dissimilar mattress height options. The crib sits low to the ground which makes it posing no difficulty to get baby in and out without breaking your back. It comes with the toddler rail which is an added bonus. You have to buy it extra with the Oeuf at $200+. I am so happy that I found this crib. I would recommend it to any family.

First test booster ever tried and I was very happy with the results to bad it’s so expensive. I benefit 10-20 lbs on all my lifts, but the best share was I lost 2 inches on my waist and gain 5 lbs of weight so in a rebellious manner assist to lean me out. My libido has perpetually been good so didn’t actually see a divergence in that area. I had no side affects. All I may say is it works and wish I would have cycled it for 2 months.

I’ve made multiple orders of these and I’ve never been disappointed. They are perpetually well packed and constantly frozen (solid) with a great deal of arid ice left over. They’re a small thick for my clamshell George Forman grill so I cut them in half and in 5 min. I have two tasty steaks (and arid ice to play with and a Styrofoam shipping container to take fishing or use as a giant cooler!

Purchased this a few weeks ago, set up was very easy and straight forward. Its light weight and I like the color (purchased in pinwheel) I am 8mo. prego and had no trouble moving it around by myself. I will be using this as a bassinet for the firstborn few weeks and it fits nicely in our bedroom. I would commend this to any individual thats on the fence with regards to getting this or a more highpriced model.

This booster is easy to use and our 5 year old says it is super comfortable. We in addition have the Parkway (Britax). The Recaro construction is way solider and the fabric is much nicer and more durable. This seat and our last Recaro have converted me from a Britax mommy to a Recaro mommy. whether or not you want a real comparison of the two brands, take the covers off. You’ll be shocked by the quality divergence based on being the same highpriced
Excellent product, Comfortable seat. The only negative point is there is no LATCH to keep it secured to the back seat of the car.
We have two car seats that convert into boosters but they are in my truck and my parents car. We were looking for a booster to put in my husbands ’93 Honda Civic hatchback. We obviously necessitated something that wouldn’t be bulky. I searched for in regards to 4 months and took place to come all over the Recars ProBooster on Amazon. I told my husband and he was elated that Recaro made child seats and bought it right away. Hubby is a mechanic by sell and sells aftermarket car items and he loves the Recaro brand. He said all the guys at his occupation thought it was the nicest thing ever! More importantly, our son loves his booster and I feel confident in knowing he is safe in the way it is designed. outstanding seat!

I researched and hemmed and hawed because we’re tried and unfeigned britax users, but I wasn’t thrilled when it comes to the britax seat (price for what we get wasn’t imspiring me, and the side affect wasn’t comfy looking) so I kept looking. We ended up buying a graco high back and low-back a year or so ago, and we have hated them. So, at the advice of a friend we went with a Probooster, and LOVE it!
Actually, I bought 3. Two kids, and the older one (7) wasn’t secure in his low-back booster, so I got him one, too. I thought he’d balk at me because of his age, but he LOVES it because it’s so comfortable.
My 5 year-old also loves hers. We have her in a booster ProSport most of the time, as her pediatrician advised us to have her in one with straps/harness, but when we need to switch her in and out of the other car for quick trips, this works fine.
It is without apparent effort cleanable, the colors aren’t cheesey, the side affect appears to be impressive, and I love how the seat belts are fitted through the red parts of the seat- no need to go looking and re-hooking every time.
I wouldn’t think twice in regards to buying one of these- I am CHEAPCHEAPCHEAP and I liked this so much that I substituted my high-back graco (that is way too tall and this is much more reasonably fairly with this.
I think it genuinely says something when it comes to your seat when your 7 year-old would instead sit in it than a low-back booster. It’s a great seat.
I Selected this seat after a good amount of research. I am picky when it comes to car seat and wanted an excellent car seat.
I was in truth happy when i took it out of the box..this is no cheap graco. It’s a nice seat with a large total of side impact protection.
However it did not work in either of our car. I drive a Honda Element and because of the shape of the seats it’s harder to find car seats. But i was certain it would fit better in my husband’s civic…no such luck. In both cars it tips over when we make turns.
We have had several car seats and acknowledge how to put them in. We have tried with both the bar up and down and it makes no difference.
It’s very dispointing. For the same amount, i bought the sunshine kids monterey..not only it fits great but it latches.
I purchased this product based on the same product seats in my vehicle. I am utterly and in a positive manner happy with the buy price, product quality, and design.
The product is exceedingly lightweight. To remove it in and out of the vehicle is very easy. Secondly, I am extremely satisfied with the head restraint aspects Although, it might restrict my son’s view a little, I am surely more at comfort that if there was a side collision, his head would have minimal movement. Lastly, it is very easy to take off the cover for cleaning. No fuss, no muss.
I would not buy this booster seat again! The bad portion is we bought two of them for both of our cars because of its high ratings on the website: Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, Highway Loss Data Institute [...]. We’ve been using this booster seat for about a month now. We use it in the center of the back seat because of the statistical safety of that position. However, the base of the booster is so narrow, it tips whenever we take the slightest turn. My son tells me multiple times while driving “don’t turn dad” as whatever he has falls off his lap.
In the booster’s defense it seems comfortable, the side head guards are quite substantial, and even when it tips while turning the seatbelt stays in position on my son’s shoulder.
We really wish we had our money back to buy different boosters!
I would have given this booster seat a 1 star, accept that the upper seat is very attractive, seems to be very sturdy and safe. The upper design notwithstanding is to the full or entire extent beside the point since the lower percentage of the booster, the actual base is horribly narrow, and does not secure to a seat with latch. I did not anticipate the booster to have latch, but the instability of such a narrow base could only be resolved by the latch security. We firstborn installed this booster into the third row of our Honda minivan. The third rown has just enough lip on the end of the seat, that the booster was CONSTANTLY tipped to the left. The whole seat moved 45 degrees when he leaned over to say something or see something. I moved him to the second row pilot seat, and the seat still leans – although now only at about a 30 degree angle. And I am not a speed demon driver. I drive normally, and he sits normally. The booster seat rock left to right. I don’t know how this seat passed any safety tests. It’s simply unsafe. I would suggest the Britax Parkway or the Graco for that matter. I have both, and they are sturdy in comparisons
The base of the booster is so narrow, it tips whenever we take the slightest turn. I was so shocked that we had this problem with a Recaro! We loved the carseat we got from them. I agree with the other review that the addition of the latch strategy would make it better. I would not recommend this at all. I wish I had returned it right away but not I have to make the best of it I guess.

I picked this car seat because we didn’t find out if we were having a boy or girl, I wanted to be competent to use it with future children, irrespective of gender, and I don’t like cutesy prints. We have used it with our son for 2.5 months now and we’re very happy with our purchased I love the color and print of the car seat, and it is VERY easy to install, use, switch to another car, unhook from the base to carry, put back in the base, as well as tighten or loosen the straps. We actually like the full canopy, which protects the baby from sun and wind. The only thing I can say against it, is that the cushion doesn’t seem thick enough, and when moving the straps I can see the styrofoam behind the cushion. Our son hasn’t had any accidents, spit up, or spilled any drinks in it yet, so I can’t say how it cleans up, but overall we’re very happy with the purchased
